Terms of use
Last updated 3 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of Tablewise, an online wedding seating planner run by Happy House Inc Ltd ("we", "us"). You are contracting with Happy House Inc Ltd. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You need an account to create and keep plans. Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity under your account and for anyone you invite to collaborate. You must provide accurate information when signing up.
Free use and paid unlock
Building rooms, adding guests and seating them is free. Unlocking a plan is a single payment for that one plan. It switches on the read-only share link, guest seat finder, printing, name cards, export and the meal-choice link. Edits after unlocking are included. There is no subscription.
Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and cancellation mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Prices are shown in your region's currency before you pay.
Refunds
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with a paid unlock, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your order date. Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle — to request one, visit paddle.net or use our contact page.
Your content
You own the plans and guest information you add. You confirm you have the right to add your guests' details and to share them with collaborators and anyone you send a plan link to. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your content solely to provide the service.
Our service and intellectual property
We own Tablewise — the software, design, documentation and the Tablewise name and branding — and all intellectual property rights in them. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own events. You may not copy, resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the service, or circumvent its technical limits.
AI suggestions
AI features suggest a starting point. You review suggestions before they are applied and remain responsible for your final plan.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, including: using it for anything unlawful; fraud or spam; infringing anyone's intellectual property; introducing malware, probing or scanning the service, or scraping it; or trying to access other people's plans.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable-use rules. When access ends, your plans may be deleted after a reasonable period.
Changes and availability
We work to keep Tablewise available but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update these terms and will show the date of the latest version on this page.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or data). Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
